Battle of the Beasts - Article on RB Scoring Stars

BATTLE OF THE BEASTS
By far the most interesting matchup to watch during this season's roundball men's league is the battle between big men Aran Hare and Jerome James. Both easily over 6 feet in height dominate on both the offensive and defensive boards and are able to score at any given time when needed. This past week's battle between the two star's was spectacular to watch. Jerome seemed to be the more versatile player with a stronger jumpshot and more quickness off his first step to the hoop. However Aran was nevertheless the dangerous one when within 5 feet of the basket, able to post up and take two steps into a slam dunk at any moment. Most likely the most intense Roundball game thus far, the game ended with Jerome winning the one on one battle between competitor Aran. Jerome was able to score 24 points and gather 14 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block and two steals. He also managed to hold Aran Hare to 20 points, which is the lowest amount of points the center has scored in a single game so far. Jerome's defensive game was stellar, however Aran ended the night the victor as his team went on to win the war. Aran also still managed to finish the game with 20 points and 13 rebounds. Team Strictly Business were able to match up against Aran by alternating between two strong big men in Jerome and newly acquired Derek Davis. Seeing as how this exciting game ended with the All City Chess Club winning 70 - 68 in the final seconds, this battle will be one to look forward to both in the upcoming weeks and potentially in the Roundball Finals.
