Roundball Players, please take to note the following information that may be briefly outlined on opening night:

Code of Conduct Agreement:
Please review the code of conduct for a reminder of the agreement between players and staff. Games are run under one experienced recreational referee. By signing the agreement, players are stating they are aware of the associated risks outlined in the Code of Conduct. A refund of registration fees are not given after the opening night of play. Therefore we advise all players to read and agree to the waiver before registering for the program.
Punctuality:
If  a team does not have at least five players present 10 minutes after the scheduled game time, the opposing team has one of the following options.

A) Take an automatic win by default and scrimmage for the remaining game time
OR
B) Wait for the late team, but have time removed from the game clock.

Deadline to Add Players to Your Roster
The sixth week of the Roundball program is the final week to add players to your team's roster. The amount of players on your team by this date is final. Please ensure you have enough players incase of situations such as injuries or player absences.

Drop In Rule:
A drop in player is only allowed to drop in one time for a fee of 5 dollars. If he returns for a second night of play, he must pay the full registration fee. There are NO drop ins during the playoffs.

Important In Game Rules:
The Possession rule states that the team that loses the jump ball at the start of the game regains possession at the start of the second half.

During the regular season, a team is given 2 timeouts per game. A team is given an additional timeout for each overtime period. In the playoffs a team is given 3 timeouts per game, as well as an additional timeout for each overtime period.

A player is fouled out on his 5th foul
A team is in the bonus on their 6th foul

If a game is within ten points, the last 5 minutes of the game will conclude with a shot clock being called out from the scorers table.

Important Playoff Information

When competing for a playoff spot are a few seeding rules to be aware of:

FIRSTLY
At the end of the regular season if two teams are tied for a specific position, we will look at which team won against the other during regular season play. This winning team will therefore take the higher seeded position. Something like this could bump a team team out of the playoffs.

SECONDLY
If a common seeding circumstance takes place, whereby teams are tied for a position in the standings and they have played each other twice in the regular season and both had gained a victory. We will then calculate the point
differential over the course of the whole season (total points scored - total points allowed). The team with the higher amount  then will take the fourth and final position.

To conclude..EVERY GAME COUNTS! so play hard.
