Athlete Code of Conduct Agreement
Roundball
athletes are expected to abide by the Athlete’s Code of Conduct
whenever participating in Roundball Basketball organized activity.
Athletes MUST:
1.
Respect the game officials and refrain from addressing them in a
negative manor or inappropriately commenting on their decisions
during the play of the game.
2.
Maintain control of his/her emotions, avoiding the use of abusive
language or profanity, humiliating remarks, and/or gestures of ill
temper, and physical assault upon another player at any time.
3.
Respect all Roundball staff and players of the opposing team
4.
Follow all building rules and regulations, respecting property
guidelines and immediately exiting the building once the Roundball
hours of service are complete.
5.
Understand that by signing this agreement the individual is aware of
the risks associated with playing in the Roundball program and are
fully liable of any injury incurred. These include but are not
limited to hard fouls, missed calls or accidental injuries.
6.
Understand that Roundball only provides a refund of registration on
opening night. A ten dollar drop in fee will be deducted by Roundball
if a player participates on opening night and requests a refund at
the end their game.
7.
Understand that there will be no tolerance for the use of drugs or alcohol on the facilities property. An athlete can be permanently suspended without a refund from the program based on the judgement of the facility manager.
8.
Understand that teams are allowed to wear their own jerseys to
Roundball if all jerseys are exactly identical and numbers are
displayed on the back of all jerseys. This agreement must be
established on the first night of play.
On
A Final Note:
Breaking the rules of the athlete code of conduct can and will result
in a loss of a players fees and suspension from the Roundball
program. Consequences will therefore be based upon a Roundball
coordinators judgment.
