Blazing To The Title
Congratulations to the Pinetree Blazers for their spectacular Roundball Championship Victory! The guys came out gunning with a tremendous amount of energy and intensity throughout the game. Their vocal and scoring presence was demanding as every player on the team seemed in sync with each other scoring baskets from all over the floor. Midway into the second half the Heat cut the deficit down to 10 points, but this was the closest they would come, as the Blazers were just too strong throughout the game.
Honourable mentions go out to Heat Captain Nick Jhauj as he took home the Regular Season Top Scorer Award as well as Blazer Captain Michael Bains who won both the Regular Season Most Valuable Player Award & the Playoff Most Valuable Player Award.
